Butterply at Let's Die Together in 2012

Temen-temen, ini pertama kalinya Dea diajak pameran (judul pamerannya Let's Die Together in 2012. Tentang pamerannya bisa kamu liat di sini). Sempet deg-degan juga, karena gimanapun karya seni rupa punya tanggung jawab visual, padahal Dea kan penulis.

Yang ngajakin Bottlesmoker, musisi yang selalu berkarya dengan ketulusan. Sejak setaun yang lalu, Dea mulai sering nulis tentang mereka. Dea bener-bener support kemurnian berkarya mereka, karena sekarang ini kemurnian yang kayak gitu udah lumayan langka.

Nah. Setelah berpikir-pikir, akhirnya Dea mutusin bikin karya ini (special thank's untuk Papa Herman, Tiya, Yovie, dan Ekos buat bantuannya, terutama untuk urusan-urusan yang berkaitan sama motorik halus ... hehehe ... ) :

Judul karyanya Bukupukupu atau Butterply (ply di sini maksudnya lembaran, bukan salah ketik lho ... hehehe). Karya ini ngerespon lagu Bubbles Butterflies-nya Bottlesmoker yang bisa kamu unduh di sini. 

Ini isi bukunya:

At first they were foams that roam. 

Swam across the ocean they believed. 

The wind found them and gave them breath of life. 

Then the foams were blown away …

  At the second they were quiet bubbles who never rumble. 

Flew across the sky they believed. 

The light found them and gave them the rainbow. 

Then the rainbow became their wings …

At the third they were butterflies who mind the miles. 

Never floated too far, but lived life to the fullest. 

All merriest things danced with them. 

Until …

At the end they plopped down and popped up their child-like spirit anywhere. 

Some butterflies sneaked in to your breath ...

 ... and life in your stomach

Setelah baca buku Bubbles Butterflies, orang bisa langsung praktek maen balon-balon sabun yang disediain di deket bukunya.
