U for United

IBM not always related with computer brand. That day (August,21), IBM which was held at embassy room Savoy Homann Hotel, was the abbreviation of International Board Meeting.

After taking a tour to the museum of geology and Saung Angklung for almost a day, leaders and observers of IOAA, end that day with a serious meeting. Laughter and excitement they had along the day, seemed like swallowed by the night. A serious atmosphere filled the air when they were sitting together for the meeting.

Twenty one not always related with movie theatre. That day (August, 21), twenty one was the sum of statues (proposed) of the international Olympiad on astronomy and astrophysics points. 

Mr. Boonrucksar as president of IOAA, Mr. Taufik as head of IOAA committee, and Mr. Kunjaya as general secretary of IOAA, guided the meeting. It wasn’t an easy meeting at all because various countries and cultures trying to integrate their thoughts for an agreement.  Every point always had things to talk about.

But this time, letter “U” truly related with “united”.  That day (August, 21) different people, different cultures, and different cultures which were sitting made a letter “U”,  really meant to unite themselves.

That is why, exhaustion didn’t stop them from trying. They keep looking for an agreement so different colors would find their way to make a rainbow.
